Welcome to my personal blog. Here I will recount stories of my investigations and other experiences with the paranormal! Looking forward to some interesting places in the near future!
Saw this on some of the AI "most haunted places in Indiana" shorts that pop up. Draper cabin is an old cabin at the end of about a mile long trail in the Morgan-Monroe State Forest. You can rent it for a night or so at a time and apparently overnight you're supposed to hear walking around the cabin at night. I don't have any history on the building or the site but it's nearby Stepp Cemetery so there has to be something spooky happening!
So my (ex)girlfriend and I were out running around north of Indianapolis and I remembered something from a few years ago. There was this abandoned water park just off the highway that was shut down due to people getting injured and financial issues. With that being said I had explored some years ago with a friend of mine and we heard children singing in the wood line nearby the torn down clubhouse. As this was before I was into the whole ghost hunting thing we ran... quickly.
Now last night when myself and my (ex)girlfriend returned to Thunder Island there was a pressure in the air. Aside from it just being a creepy spot at the edge of a housing development, we felt as if we were being watched by something just out of eyesight. We stayed for a few moments before the pressure became overwhelming. I would like to return with equipment and conduct a full investigation of the location. Maybe we can get some answers.
This is one of my favorite places to investigate, I always have an amazing time going there. The first I went with my sister, her husband, and their work friends for a private overnight investigation and had a blast. That was my first ever paranormal investigation and it's what really got me hooked in the hobby!
This is the info doc I created for the location:
This is a local cemetery hidden in a state forest. I've never had any issues with it being occupied while visiting and investigating overnight.
